UST staff coach drafted by the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer
United Soccer Trainers staff coach Paul Gerstenberger heads to England with the Columbus Crew this week for a three-match tour against the Everton Reserves, Guiseley FC and the Liverpool Reserves. Paul was drafted by Columbus Crew with the 30TH pick in the 2009 MLS Super Draft. Gerstenberger was a 4 year standout at Boston College where he played mostly Left Back. “We are very lucky to have someone of Paul’s character and ability on our staff. He is the definition of a role model to the players who are fortunate enough to work with him.” Matt Jones, Director of Programming On behalf of UST and our clients we wish Paul all the best as he starts his bright professional career.
Free UST Training Session (News)
Take advantage of a free UST Training session. UST will provide interested teams with a free 1 hour trial session prior to a commitment to one of our training programs. One of the UST Trainers will come to your facility and conduct an informative session that can give players, coaches, and parents a taste of training at the highest level. This process is completely free with no promises or commitments necessary. We ask to keep free trial sessions to a maximum of 2 teams per club so please pass the word if your team is hosting a UST session.

UST is very excited to have the opportunity to continue building relationships that will allow our staff to reach out and have impact on an increasing number of young soccer players. CrossBar Soccer Camps have put together one of the best camp curriculum in the country and we are excited that United Soccer Trainers will play a major role in delivering a high quality soccer experience.
Rec Program Consultation (News)
Is your rec program looking to draw more players? UST will help create programming that will allow each participant to engage in fun activities involving constant touches on the ball as well as small sided play.UST Director will work with your recreational program coordinators and coaches to help design a fun and rewarding recreational experience in the game of soccer. We will walk each program director and staff through a basic curriculum process and exercise analysis that will identify certain exercises and games that will be most effective to create positive interest in your program. UST has proven tactics that will increase each players involvement and excitement while being part of your recreational program.
